Mrs. Gilda Lankford, age 78, of Fairview, TN passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 13, 1946, in Fairview to the late Reedy and Euvalah Sullivan. She was married to the late Terry “Piggy” Lankford.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her grandson Parker Tapp; brothers and sisters, Claude Sullivan, Eudene McGlothlin, Pete Sullivan, and Carolyn Anderson.
Other than raising her five children, Mrs Lankford devoted most of her adult life to serving the Lord at Old New Hope Baptist Church where she served: WMU, VBS, and church secretary just to name a few. She took pride in her work at H&R Block for the last 15 years.
Visitation with the family will be at the Old New Hope Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 1pm-8pm and Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 9am-11am. Funeral Service for Mrs. Lankford will be Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11am at the Old New Hope Baptist Church, 7143 New Hope Rd, Fairview, TN. Interment will follow at Jane Jones Cemetery on Old Cox Pike in Fairview.
