Harold passed at his home on December 14th surrounded by the people that meant the most to him. He was married to his devoted wife Patricia for 64 years. Harold found peace in the outdoors; he loved to be in the woods cutting hickory poles and digging ginseng. He had a love for the Dallas Cowboys and spent many Sundays cheering them on. His friends and family affectionately called him “Lucky”, a fitting nickname for someone who always seemed to have good fortune on his side. Harold had a knack for finding treasures and making a deal, making him quite the negotiator. This talent was evident in his love for scraping junk and turning it into a profit. His legacy will live on through his children and their families, who learned the importance of hard work, determination, and love from him.
