Lillian Nyoka Bleyle – Age 81 – Knoxville, TN

In Loving Memory of Lillian Nyoka Bleyle
December 18, 1943 – April 17, 2025

Lillian Nyoka Bleyle, a devoted servant of the Lord and beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025, at the age of 81.

Lillian lived a life filled with faith, compassion, and quiet strength. She spent many years working for Bellsouth in Jacksonville, Florida, where she retired with pride. Beyond her career, Lillian was best known for her deep love for her family, her unwavering devotion to God, and the gentle companionship of her beloved Yorkie, Cindy, who was always by her side.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life — walking the charming streets of St. Augustine, exploring the magic of Disney World, and building a cherished collection of cookbooks and Disney DVDs. These small joys reflected her warmth, curiosity, and enduring spirit.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Bleyle — her high school sweetheart and lifelong companion — as well as her parents, Hazel and William McDonald, and her beloved daughter, Linda Knight.

Lillian is survived by her daughter Laura Ramos and son-in-law Paul Ramos; her grandchildren Daniel Knight, Matthew Knight, Brian Ramos, and Kayla Ramos; and seven great-grandchildren: Laila, William, Zoey, Emma, Lillian, Vaughn, and Chase. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love and wisdom into every generation.

Lillian was taken home to be with the Lord on her late husband’s birthday, a reminder of the deep love and connection they shared.

Among the many memories she leaves behind, Lillian will be especially remembered for her favorite saying: “This too shall pass.” In our time of mourning, may those words remind us that even through sorrow, joy and peace remain.

She will be dearly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
