Mrs. Linda Kay Garrison, age 81, of Springville, TN, passed away January 14, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Garrison was born August 16, 1943, in Beebe, Arkansas to the late Robert and Shirley Burns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew “Matt” Wesley Garrison, from Leeds, AL, who passed away in March 2008.
She loved her grandchildren very much and cherished every minute she got to spend with them. She enjoyed watching sports. Especially football, going to horse races, and playing the slot machines in Las Vegas. She retired from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Memphis, TN. She was one of a kind and very outspoken. She will be missed dearly by her family. It was her wish not to have a funeral.
